Call for submissions to Canadian Business Strategist Magazine

Toronto, Canada - April 16, 2012 - The Canadian Business Strategy Association (CBSA), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing professional development in the area of strategic management, announced the call for submissions of articles and guidelines to contributors of its official magazine, Canadian Business Strategist. The magazine will be published initially on-line on its own website on a quarterly basis with the July-September 2012 edition slated to be its inaugural issue.

The Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Business Strategist Magazine, Prof. Cesar Polvorosa, Jr. announced that the maiden issue will adopt the theme of "Strategic Management in a Time of Uncertainty" to highlight the challenges that businesses, organizations and professionals confront over the medium term. He noted that with various political and economic storms taking place in diverse places from Africa to the Euro Zone, the economies of Japan and North America at the start of 2012, the world will be sailing through the rest of the year and into the medium term under overcast skies. With ongoing fragile recoveries in North America and many other economies, the first issue intends to discuss the following major issues: how will business organizations and professional managers respond to contemporary significant strategic concerns? How are these significant developments factored into the strategic planning process? Where are the business opportunities in the midst of the global uncertainty?

Please submit your articles on the above theme by June 1, 2012. While we will give preference to submissions that revolve around the theme of the first issue we will be glad to consider all contributions that support the subject matter focus of the magazine and adhere to submission guidelines. Please read the submission guidelines in the following link: Submission guidelines

The Canadian Business Strategist Magazine will publish articles, opinion pieces, research studies, findings and news on strategic management in the context of major economic, business and socio-political issues and developments.
